For two years, I had the honour of teaching at the VFX Workshop school, where I guided first-year students through the basics of sculpting on ZBrush and human anatomy. One of the key projects during this period was the creation of a skin, detailing all the muscles of the human body.

At the end of the year, students were challenged to create a creature using the skills and knowledge they had acquired. To encourage and motivate my students, I decided to take part too, by creating my own creature. My personal challenge was to use only the tools and techniques taught during the year.

This ‘L’écorché’ project not only reinforced the basics of sculpting and anatomy for my students, but was also a wonderful opportunity to share my passion and expertise in an educational setting.
